Legal
These general conditions describe how the studio works with clients. They apply to all design engagements and are complemented by the specific terms of each written proposal.
The studio provides interior design, product design, and design direction services. The exact deliverables, stages, and exclusions are defined in the written proposal agreed with the client before work begins.
Every project starts with a tailored proposal describing the scope, fee, and payment schedule. A first payment confirms the booking of time and resources; further payments are tied to defined project milestones.
Estimated timelines are indicative and depend on timely client feedback, supplier lead times, and site conditions. Requests that change the agreed scope are handled as additional work, quoted and approved in advance.
The client provides accurate information, access to the site or relevant materials, and timely decisions and approvals. Delays in feedback may extend the agreed schedule accordingly.
All drawings, concepts, and design materials remain the intellectual property of the studio. The client receives a licence to use the delivered design for the agreed project, unless transfer of rights is expressly agreed in writing.
Both parties treat project information, drawings, and commercial details as confidential and use them only for the purpose of the engagement, unless disclosure is required by law.
Where suppliers, artisans, or contractors are engaged, the studio coordinates and recommends but does not guarantee their performance. Their own terms and warranties apply to the goods and work they provide.
The studio is liable for professional services within the limits agreed in the proposal and applicable law. The studio is not liable for indirect losses, or for issues arising from work carried out by third parties or from changes made without the studio's involvement.
Either party may end the engagement in writing. In that case the client pays for all work completed up to that point, and the studio hands over the deliverables produced for the agreed stages.
These general conditions are governed by Italian law. Any dispute is subject to the competent court of the studio's seat, unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
